in your community are supported by financial contributions from
the general public, private foundations and corporations. Our Goodwill
has an excellent record of spending over 90% of every dollar donated
and earned on program services. The more contributions we receive

Bearer/Street Bonds
These can be delivered to Goodwill in person
or to your broker with instructions to contact Goodwill. These securities
may also be mailed to Goodwill by registered mail.
Corporate stock/other registered securities
These may be delivered to Goodwill in person
or by an agent. For corporate stock, the Certificate of Assignment
on the stock certificate must be signed by the person named on the
certificate as owner and the signature must be guaranteed by the
bank or registered broker. The name of the transferee should be
left blank.
You may also deliver a stock certificate by
registered or certified mail. Please include a stock power or assignment
of the security to Goodwill by separate mail. The stock power or
assignment must be signed by the person named as owner on the security
or in whose name the security is registered, and the signature must
be guaranteed by bank or registered broker. The name of the assignee
should be left blank.
Gift Annuity
A gift annuity makes it possible to transfer cash or marketable
securities to Goodwill while you or someone you designate receives
fixed payments for life. The
American Council on Gift Annuities supplies suggestions on gift
annuity rates. Goodwill and The Community Foundation of Santa Cruz

Planned Gifts
A properly managed planned gift can maximize your assets while

All donations are tax deductible and acknowledged by a letter of
