Located at 1252 North Main Street, the Career Center is open Monday
through Friday from 1pm to 5pm to assist area residents identify,
obtain and maintain jobs that promote self sufficiency and career
advancement. Professional placement specialists will provide no-cost
resume development, job leads and access to the internet.

Counseling
Shoreline Workforce Development Services offers Vocational Rehabilitation
Counseling and Case Management services for people disabled by industrial
injuries and other circumstances. The program goal is to assist
the person in gaining marketable job skills and re-entering the
work force at the earliest opportunity. Our counseling staff has
thorough knowledge of the local labor market and are adept in the
development of appropriate plans for identifying and attaining a
vocational goal.
OJT- On the Job Training
This OJT program is designed to enable participants to achieve
high employment retention rates, promote self-sufficiency and career
advancement. Our staff serve as a partner, linking suitable candidates
to employer designs. Goodwill's mission is to improve the quality
of life for people who experience barriers to employment. Participants
can receive paid training that will increase your work skills and
value in the workplace. Through Shoreline's OJT program you can
get assistance in preparing for a career, not just another job.
We offer help in finding employment that is in demand and has future
prospects. Also available to all of our clients-free assistance
for application and resume development.
Placement Services
Shoreline offers Job Placement Services for people disabled by

by the Department of Rehabilitation, Veterans Affairs and private
counselors. The program goal is to assist the participant to re-enter
the work force at the earliest opportunity. Our placement staff
has thorough knowledge of the local labor market and are adept in
the development of appropriate plans for identifying and attaining
a vocational goal. To sustain our successful job placement rate,
we provide career exploration and counseling, labor market research,
resume preparation, interviewing skills, job development and employee
contacts. We also provide on-going job club activities which prepare
our Shoreline students to become active, poised and confident job
seekers.
