We support job training through the sale of
donated goods. That’s why it is so important that the items
we accept be in good condition and saleable as donated. Any item
we take and cannot sell, either in our store or on the salvage market,
we have to transport to the landfill. There, we pay the same fees
as everyone else.
Items we always need:
Clothing, household textiles
of all kinds, housewares, jewelry, furniture, lamps, kitchenware,
antiques, bicycles, shoes, small appliances, china, glassware,
electronic equipment in good condition, knick knacks, linens,
sporting equipment,
books, cars and boats.
Items we cannot accept:
Mattresses and bedding,
furniture that needs repair or reupholstery, built-in appliances,
plumbing
fixtures, used building
materials, water soaked or stained items, broken appliances,
magazines, chemicals or paint.
E-waste
You may drop off your unwanted electronics during donation centers'
business hours. They will be recycled responsibly and kept out
of landfills
or
from being shipped overseas.
Here's what we can take: televisions,
flat panel displays, computer monitors,
computers
(CPU's), laptops,
keyboards,
printers,
mice,
hard drives, tape and zip drives, fax machines, gaming consoles,
DVD players, VCR's, telephones, cell phones, digital cameras,
radios, stereo components, cable and cords, power supplies, networking
equipement, modems, routers, switches, printed circuit boards,
lab equipment.
We reserve the right to refuse donations that we cannot sell.
This is up to the employee accepting the donation. Some
donation acceptance will vary from county to county. No
